Well, it is sunday night and we are watching the Oscar’s on TV. This weekend has been one mixed with studying and just being a college student. Yesterday Pete and I went up to International Plaza and checked out the new iPod minis and I also got an update on my T-Mobile applicaiton. The iPod mini is a cool looking device but in my opinion, you might as well spend the extra $50 to get 15 GB full size iPod instead of the small 4GB that the mini has.
As for last night, well as the temperature dropped to around 45ºF outside, yes we are still in Florida, our school put on pool party at the Eckerd College pool. I think 4 or 5 people actually got in but, it had FREE and cheep beer. I can’t complain. Turn out was a little light and I’m sure it could have been abig event had the weather been better and it had mroe than just food, beer, and music.
Today I worked on homework and got some jobs done around the dorm. I FINALLY got around to swaping out my car battery and then went to the Library to watch Koyaanisqatsi by Godfrey Reggio. Interesting movie and I would recomend it be seen by anyone. Now as Lord of the Rings continues to clean house on the Oscar’s, I am reading for Ecotheology and Ethical Issues in Human Developement. Well, Time to get back to the Academy and reading. Have a good start to the week.

I got my replacement hard drive today and it was an expedition in itself to install it. Needless to say 3 hours later, I had the case off and the drive installed. Just another 30 minutes to get the case back on and a few more hours installing everything while I studied for a test. Off to bed now but I am up and running again! Yay!

So my hard drive on my iBook appears to be on the edge of failure. Last night was when I realized the need to backup. Good fortunes were my way this morning when I was able to get my what appeared to be dead computer booted so I could retrieve my 8 GB worth of documents, music, fonts, images, etc off the iBook incase it crashes again. So do yourself a favor and backup before you almost loose all your data!

Well I’m sorry for the lack of posts to my website lately. I have just been super busy with school work, classes, and work. I am in the process of recovering today after a little too much fun last night and battling homework at the same time. This weekend is family weekend here at Eckerd College so we have all sorts of partents and what not roaming around. I am still waiting for my background check to come back from T-Mobile so I can get an interview and what not to see if I have a possible job in retail sales. Until then though, I will just have to live with my 5 hours a week at the YMCA. Well, I’m going to get back to reading for class and drinking my water while I relax in the sun on the balcony looking out over the gulf. Catch you all later.

Well, this weekend and this week has been plagued with network outages for several hours on end. While our old network hardware was failing, the new hardware was slowly being implemented. It is getting rather annoying when you cannot do work since you can’t get to the net or e-mail oh well.

Well, yesterday I went and played at Disney World again. Studios and Epcot were on the agenda for yesterday. Now, I have to sit in my dorm room and read my ethics homework and take notes. Not as fun as Disney but oh well, I’ll live.
Classes are great so far and now it is just a matter of keeping it up for a few more months until graduation.

Well, classes have been in session now for almost two weeks here at Eckerd College. It is now officially the start of my last semester at college! Can you believe it? It was only January 2001 that I started here at Eckerd. Anyways, back to homework.

Well, I intended to post my update last night but I was just too darn knackered by the time I got home. Clare, Ian, Laurel and myself went up to Disney World yesterday for a three-park marathon day. Started out at Disney Studios and then went to Magic Kingdom where we played in the parade and saw Andrew’s and my friend Norm who was “friends” with a broom yesterday. After a few rides, it was off to Epcot and Mission: SPACE and Test Track where we again met up with another friend of Andrew’s and mine, JK. JK is a coordinator at both SPACE and Test Track. It was a fun time. We managed to hit Downtown Disney for some last minute shopping too before heading back to St. Petersburg.
Today I am just doing some reading for class and relaxing. I have to go pick up Andrew from the airport later tonight and then tomorrow I call T-Mobile about a possible job interview. Man is it nice to be back in Florida and on the way towards graduation in May.
