So this morning I didn’t sleep in. Jonnie and I got up at the crack of dawn to head to the Cast Connection/Property Control sale where the company sells off overstock and damaged items. The sale itself was for overstocked items. I picked up about $120 worth of merchandise for only $25. Not too shabby. I got a nice $70 blanket/throw for only $15 along with some nice posters. After the sale, Jonnie and I went in to the Magic Kingdom and did a few rides and check out the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea construction (see My Mobile Album for pictures) before heading back to Chatham Square. Where we went our seperate ways and I met up with my suitemate Matt and hit the pool for a few hours. Wow, you don’t realize how nice it is until it hits 115ºF on the heat index!
After our cool down, Matt and I went off to Target and the Mall at Millenia to get some nice new stuff for our apartment now that our problem roommate is relocated. We have cleaned up the place fianlly and now have put out the nicer posters and items we had been hidding from the roommate and we now feel like a home rather than a dorm room that is the same as all the rest.
Tonight Matt and I are heading to Downtown Disney and to Pleasure Island for Cast Night. I have to work tomorrow but the good thing is it isn’t until 19:30 but the bad part is that I am not out until 03:00 in the morning. Oh well, it is just the joys of working E-Ride night at the Magic Kingdom. Now back to the extreme home makeover!

Ok, I know I haven’t updated this blog in a LONG time. I have just been working crazy hours this week. For those that don’t know, this coming weekend is one of the busiest at Walt Disney World behind New Years. The Magic Kingdom is expected to reach capacity (60,000 guests) by 11am on Sunday. We have a 45 minute fireworks show planned as well. So knowing that it is busy, we all have beenw orking 6-7 days a week to keep up with the masses.
Having said that, I had the day off yesterday which was a much needed day to go to class and relax. Met up with Jonnie and hit Property Control where we sell overstocked and damaged/lost and found items. Some nice snowglobes I want but I didn’t need the damaged items. We then went to watch the Share a Dream Come True Parade and then over to Epcot before ctaching the new Harry Potter movie at Downtown Disney. It was a nice and relaxing day.
Now, I am just relaxing in my room until work tonight. I am working 19:30 till 03:00. Oh man do I love e-ride nights, NOT! Check out the Moblog for updated pictures that gets posted more than here.

So yea, I know I just graduated from college but, I am still taking classes while here at Walt Disney World to expand my knowlege and learn valuable skills from a unique company. I have the resources open to me, I might as well use them. So that being said, today was the first day of Organizational Leadership from the Walt Disney World College Program.
The course description is:
Knowledge of leadership theory and how to apply it is critical for today’s leaders. Participants of this course will examine and apply the classical models of leadership in preparation of their application in today’s corporate environment. Throughout the course, you will examine various aspects of leadership and reexamine the results of your own leadership style.
The teacher is great and I am really excited about the class. Our teacher is a former Colonal in the Air Force and used to work in the Pentagon and for the President in Public Relations. It is also going ot be fun becuase my roommate Tré and my friend Lex are in the class as well. It will be work but fun work that connects to my work location and career goals.
Now, off to the Magic Kingdom for a shift at the Emporium.

Well, I am sitting in the Disney Wide World of Sports parking lot connected via bluetooth. I have been here since about 05:00 this morning helping andrew get all set up for the inline skate race. I will post more updates later as Andrew is coming in to the midway point now.
UPDATE: Andrew has finished the race in around two hours and eleven minutes. We are now waiting at Wide World of Sports for the awards session before we head back to school. Way to go Andrew!

Well, tonight I have been taking it easy. Chris and I went to the YMCA to work out this afternoon and then ended up both crashing when we got back. Woke up and just took it easy tonight. Enjoyed a few drinks with Ian and friends and watched Hercules. Never saw this Disney movie before but, I liked it. Then again, “Go the Distance” is a catchy tune. Anyways, I am at lifeguard training all weekend and starting on ethics and parks class papers. Have a good one.

Well folks, today is my last day before I head home tomorrow. I have a debate tonight at 18:00 and then it is time to pack. Yesterday I took a little study break to relieve some stress and headed to Disney World again this month with Andrew and met up with his friends Norm and JK. We had a great time and got a great dinner at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I highly recommend gong there for dinner if you can’t stay there. We then went back to Epcot for the Candlelight Processional again but this time, it was narrated by Edward James Olmos. This was way better than the last time I saw it which was narrated by Ericka Dunlap, Miss America. Despite the light rain, it was still amazing. After that, I was able to finish up some Christmas shopping with JK and Norm while Andrew visited with another friend up there. Always nice to get a nice break from studying and enjoy the park. I can apply in a little over a month hopefully so I can do the WDW College Program. Well, back to the debate work. Next post will most likely be from MN.

Well, today was just the average day for me. I got a chance to work on updating my resumé and get some groceries after class this afternoon. Tonight was the first new episode of The OC on FOX and I must say, this is still one of my favorite shows! That’s all for now. Catch you around later.

Well folks, I have been busy this week getting things put together in order to take off on Saturday for Florida again. I have been working at the YMCA all week and running around town getting last minute items for the trip. Most of the packing has yet to start but, I have gotten as far as sorting out clothing and it is a matter of sticking it all in to the bag and then in to the trunk at this point. So catch you all later and from Florida unless I get a chance to post one more before I leave. Peace.
